Local Nutley resident Khristopher Reina purchased the historic Park Pub in 2018, and with the help of local designers and contractors he transformed the 6,500 square foot, 2-story restaurant into “The Oakley – Kitchen Cocktails“, an elegant yet comfortable gastropub, which opened for business in May 2019. The gastropub is named after the famous feminine sharpshooter Annie Oakley, a Nutley resident in the late 1800’s (when she wasn’t traveling with Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show). Khris wanted to bring excellent food, drinks, atmosphere and music to Nutley.
The Oakley is currently open for free delivery orders (in Nutley, $25 minimum) and takeout, from Wednesday – Sunday.
Here’s some information for when we are to our old operating schedule:
The bar has 12 beers on tap, including many craft beers, plus a full and diverse selection of wines and liquors. The specialty cocktails include Annie’s Bulleit (The Oakley’s take on an Old Fashioned) and The Ultimate Gun Powder Gin & Tonic. Karaoke takes place every Thursday. Live music is on schedule most Fridays and Saturdays. About once a month we have a comedy show. The second floor has its own bar, bathrooms and dining area, perfect to host your private event. We are open seven days a week, starting at 11am in the morning. We leave when the last patron leaves, but no later than 2am. So stop by for a drink, and stay for the food and music.
